Liz Cheney Got the News, Time to Hire a Lawyer!

With Joe Biden leaving the White House, we are about to have a Republican Attorney General, which means no more protections for Democrats.
Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-MT) definitely stretched the rules during the J6 Select Committee.
The GOP plans on holding her accountable, so get ready for the outrage on the left when this takes place.
No Protections
One of the big reasons conservatives were upset about that big spending bill was because Republicans had allowed Democrats to put some protections in there for people like Cheney.
There were earmarks, raises for Congress, and even censorship clauses, yet Speaker Johnson (R-LA) had initially agreed to all of this.
We know for a fact that Cheney was tampering with witnesses, specifically Cassidy Hutchinson.
There are text strings and other communications documenting that Cheney helped recommend a new attorney to Hutchinson as well as guiding her through her testimony.
A report by House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight Chair Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) stated, “Based on the evidence obtained by this Subcommittee, numerous federal laws were likely broken by Liz Cheney, the former Vice Chair of the January 6 Select Committee, and these violations should be investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
“Evidence uncovered by the Subcommittee revealed that former Congresswoman Liz Cheney tampered with at least one witness, Cassidy Hutchinson, by secretly communicating with Hutchinson without Hutchinson’s attorney’s knowledge.”
The report continues, “Prior to this interview, nearly every interview the Select Committee conducted included approximately a dozen people – including committee staff members, committee counsel, often a Member of the Select Committee, the interviewee, and the interviewee’s legal representation.
“Most of the interviews were done in large conference rooms or over zoom, allowing space for all participants. Hutchinson’s fourth transcribed interview, however, was vastly different.
“It consisted of only four people: Representative Cheney, one attorney from the Select Committee, Hutchinson, and Hutchinson’s new counsel.
“Additionally, instead of the Select Committee conducting the interview in a conference room or virtually, Representative Cheney used her private hideaway inside of the United States Capitol Building.”
Cheney has responded to the report, stating, “The January 6th Committee’s hearings and report featured scores of Republican witnesses, including many of the most senior officials from Trump’s own White House, campaign and Administration.
“All of this testimony was painstakingly set out in thousands of pages of transcripts, made public along with a highly detailed and meticulously sourced 800 page report. Now, Chairman Loudermilk’s ‘Interim Report’ intentionally disregards the truth and the Select Committee’s tremendous weight of evidence, and instead fabricates lies and defamatory allegations in an attempt to cover up what Donald Trump did.
“Their allegations do not reflect a review of the actual evidence, and are a malicious and cowardly assault on the truth. No reputable lawyer, legislator or judge would take this seriously.”
Let me put it this way… if the evidence the GOP has against Cheney were in a real court of law, she would have been put in jail.
This is Congress, however, so not all courtroom rules apply.
I am not sure of the legalities of this, but it would appear to be an open-and-shut case.
The shame of all this is that even if the GOP shows absolute proof of her guilt, the media and Democrats will tag this as revenge for someone who went after Trump, and Cheney knows it.
That is why she remains cocky and believes nothing will ever happen to her.
Remember, if you broke the law, it’s not revenge. It’s justice.
