Many know of the beauty of the book of Psalms; how the messages contained
within speak of God's excellence, His strength and wisdom. Today's verse is a
message from King David, the author of Psalms, inviting the angels to praise and
give thanks to Him for
rescuing David from the hands of Israel's enemies. This shows us that even the
incredible King David experienced moments of concern and uncertainty throughout
his life. Explains the noted Biblical commentator Rashi, we learn from here that
when you find yourself at your very lowest point thinking nothing can lift you
from rock bottom, God will always be there to shelter and protect you. Only by
taking refuge in God will you see an end to any pain or fear you may be going
