Terry Bradshaw: America 'Rotting from Within'

"All you got to do is look around."

NFL legend Terry Bradshaw lamented on Fox & Friends Tuesday about the dying state of the union, saying the once great nation of America now finds itself "rotting from within."
The former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback first took shots at political correctness and speech codes that dictate people "can’t talk about Jesus," forcing them instead to "say ‘I’m religious' – because if we say Jesus, you are automatically pigeonholed and kicked off the desk."
Bradshaw also saw the Colin Kaepernick revolution of sitting during the national anthem to protest alleged injustice against black people as a symptom of a very deep and serious problem.
"I do have a problem when people in this country don’t respect our flag and national anthem," said Bradshaw. "All you got to do is look around – this country’s getting worse and worse and more and more immoral and we're rotting from within."
"All great empires die from within," he continued. "We can't talk about Jesus... The two vice presidential guys are going at it and they are both saying what? ‘We're religious.’ What does that mean, you’re religious? Everybody is religious."
Bradshaw's point is that American leaders now go by cheap religious labels without ever holding themselves accountable to what the religion teaches. Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine, for example, may very well call himself a "religious Catholic," but his viewpoints on abortion, gender ideology, and same-sex marriage say the contrary. You can add self-proclaimed "Catholics" Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden to that list.
