Pro-Abortion Activists Target Students for Life Groups With Vandalism, Theft
Numerous student pro-life clubs and outreaches at schools across the United States have been targets of vandalism, theft and other incidents in the past month.
Over the weekend, Students for Life of America reported someone vandalized and stole several fliers from the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas ahead of President Kristan Hawkins’ “Lies Pro-Choice Politicians Tell” speaking tour stop.
“We fully condemn the cowardly attacks by pro-choice students who are too afraid to actually come and talk to us face-to-face to argue with us,” Hawkins said. “The event … is free, open to the public, and has a question and answer session; yet, the cowardly, spineless students decided stealing our signs was the best they could muster, perhaps because they are afraid of trying to defend their ideas?”
Hawkins said abortion activists also destroyed pro-life students’ signs at Robert Morris University ahead of her speech there.
“It’s a classic move from the campus leftist playbook as they seek to limit the ability of their peers to hear conservative ideas on campus,” wrote Spencer Brown of Young America’s Foundation, which sponsored Hawkins’ talk at the Dallas university. “As the before and after photos below show, the posters advertising SMU YAF’s lecture with Hawkins are the only ones taken down.”

In the past month, LifeNews counted more than a dozen incidents targeting pro-lifers on college and high school campuses, including the assault of a pro-life womanat Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. A pro-abortion student also was arrested at Indiana University after he allegedly vandalized and stole several signs from pro-life advocates with Created Equal.
Students for Life informed LifeNews of seven incidents including pro-life posters being torn down at Woodson High School in Virginia, signs and flags being stolen at University of Nebraska-Omaha, and pro-life posters being torn down at Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. This is in addition to dozens more reports of assault, vandalism, threats and other incidents against pro-lifers in the past month. These include a pro-life sidewalk counselor who allegedly was punched to the ground outside a Planned Parenthood in Florida, and a young, pro-life woman who was roundhouse-kicked during a peaceful prayer rally in Toronto.
