NFL Player Sports Red “Make Africa Home Again” Hat

6
The NFL has managed to get through five whole weeks without the divisive national anthem protest controversy erupting again but that may be about to change.
The kneelers have been limited and largely unreported and ESPN went so far as to announce that it was not televising the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner during Monday Night Football games.
But with an election coming and the Democrats and their media lackeys determined to foment racial hostility that benefits them at the ballot box, look for a renewed push for the disciples of Colin Kaepernick to get their message out by disrespecting the flag and all but spitting on the troops.
This Sunday, Kaepernick’s sidekick Eric Reid suited up for the first time since being shunned in free agency which he blamed on being punished for his free speech. Reid was signed by the Carolina Panthers and immediately hit his knee before Sunday’s home game against the New York Giants.
But on Monday night, New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara one-upped Reid by prancing around the locker room wearing a red Kaepernick jersey with a matching red ballcap with the words “Make Africa Home Again” on it.
Alvin Kamara made a statement after the New Orleans Saints’ win against the Washington Redskins, wearing a Colin Kaepernick jersey and a political hat.
The Saints star running back wore the No. 7 San Francisco 49ers shirt and a red hat, which referenced President Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan. Kamara’s cap read: “Make Africa Home Again,” with the same red and white color scheme as the apparel worn by Trump’s supporters.
The second-year pro had just 24 yards on six carries and three catches for 15 yards in the victory. His workload was lightened a bit by the return of backfield mate Mark Ingram, who had 16 carries for 53 yards and two scores. Ingram also had two catches for 20 yards in his first game of 2018, following a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance enhancing drug policy.
Kamara donned the apparel while doing a postgame interview with Ingram, but did not answer questions regarding the outfit.
It’s one thing with the Kaepernick jersey which is no big shock as Kamara was a regular kneeler last season but the red “Make Africa Home Again” hat is a bit of a head scratcher and one has to wonder whether its dog whistle for black separatism.
Or it could be a result of the cultural phenomenon of the Marvel Comics superhero flick “Black Panther” that blew the doors off of theaters early this year and was hyped by the media using appeals to race.
The movie envisioned the fictional African utopia of Wakanda, a nation that was the most advanced on the planet with the barely implied suggestion that it is what the entire continent would be like had white people not showed up.
It was a fantasy but at this time of deteriorating race relations, too many people of color found the movie as a cathartic experience where they could rise up and shake their fists at President Trump and it was immediately politicized.
What Kamara was attempting to get across with the hat is still mysterious but it doesn’t bode well for American society because it’s only a matter of time until these are mass produced and once that happens, the usual grifters and travelers will only be able to reinforce their bogus narrative that America is a white supremacist nation.
One can only imagine Commissioner Roger Goodell’s reaction, the man just can’t catch a break as another season gets ready to go off the rails.
