Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised in the city of God, on His holy mountain - beautiful in its heights, joy of all the earth, Mount Zion on its northern side, city of the great King. PSALMS (48:2,3)

Shabbat Inspiration

The ancient walls of Solomon’s Temple were constructed in a very special manner, “hammers, chisels or any iron instruments were not heard in the Temple when it was being built” (I Kings 6:7). No instruments of war or violence were used so that peace would be built into the very foundation of Jerusalem’s holy temple. To this day, Jerusalem remains the “joy of all the earth”; when Jerusalem is at peace, the whole world is at peace. Learn more about the Biblical connection to Israel and Jerusalem with our Israel Bible monthly reading club!

New Western Wall Torah Dedicated in Memory of 3 Youths Murdered by Hamas

A new Torah, written in memory of the three youth kidnapped and murdered by Hamas in the summer of 2014, was dedicated for use at the Western Wall on Tuesday. From hate and violence we will build love of the Torah (Bible)!

Ram's Horn Shofar

The significance of the shofar dates back to the dawn of Jewish history, and its call still echoes today in synagogues and temples all over the world. Playing an important role in the Bible, the shofar is a key part of Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) and Yom Kippur, when it is played to mark the end of fasting. Shofars are also used to welcome Shabbat, and to announce the new year and the new moon. Only Shofarot Israel offers the skills and expertise of fifteen generations, dating back to 14th century Spain, and now adapted to the modern technology and requirements of present-day Israel and the international market.
