Hillary Clinton has not held a press conference and answered questions from the media in 200 days.
The Washington Examiner writes:
She has participated in numerous sit-down interviews with various members of the press and the entertainment industry, and she has delivered multiple campaign speeches. Clinton has also taken the occasional question from reporters covering her second run at the White House.
Instead, Hillary has carefully controlled and choreographed media appearances in taped interviews with media celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres.
The last time that Clinton hosted a press conference was on Dec. 4, 2015, before a single vote had been cast in the Democratic presidential primary, according to the Washington Post. It was also a little before it became clear that Donald Trump would become the presumed GOP nominee.
Can she succeed as a presidential candidate without answering questions from the media?
The Freedom Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Therefore we do not endorse political candidates either in primary or general elections. However, as defenders of America’s social contract, we insist that the rules laid down by both parties at the outset of campaigns be respected, and that the results be decided by free elections. We will oppose any attempt to rig the system and deny voters of either party their constitutional right to elect candidates of their choice.
