Trump: Terror Threat Never Greater

As usual, Donald Trump's initial reaction to a major event came via Twitter. As the world watched in horror at the images of carnage coming from the attack on the airport in Istanbul, Trump responded at first through social media before issuing a formal statement.
The presumptive Republican nominee asked what it will take for the world to wake up:
He then said terrorism must be kept outside of America's borders:
In his official statement Trump said that the world is horrified at what happened, and he warned of a growing threat:
The terrorist threat has never been greater. Our enemies are brutal and ruthless and will do anything to murder those who do not bend to their will. We must take steps now to protect America from terrorists, and do everything in our power to improve our security to keep America safe.
Trump said that his prayers are with those killed and injured in Istanbul and with their families.
