A horrible story out of Twin Falls, Idaho involves a 5-year-old girl that was sexually assaulted by three Muslim migrant boys, ages 7, 10 and 14, inside a laundry room at an apartment complex on June 2.
WARNING: GRAPHIC DETAILS
The details of the case have been sealed, due to the ages of those involved and that's not helping to distinguish between eyewitness testimony and fabrication. Early reports said the little girl was gang-raped at knifepoint by the older boy, and since the younger boys wouldn't be able to ejaculate, they were instructed to urinate on her and in her mouth. There are claims that the incident was filmed on a cell phone. The three boys were said to be Syrian refugees and the little girl was described as a white child with special needs.
But Twin Falls County Prosecutor Gran Loebs said there was no gang rape, even though all the children had their clothing off, there was no knife, and the boys aren't from Syria, but from Sudan in Africa and the youngest from Iraq. He said they've been in the U.S. less than two years. Charges have been filed and the two older boys were taken into custody.
Despite the differing accounts, Loebs admitted, "Something bad did happen, and we're taking it serious."
The police chief confirmed that it is being investigated as a sexual assault, leaving the town concerned and speaking out about their personal safety while living among Muslim refugees. A local town council meeting was packed with angry residents.
Enter CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper who is extremely upset with the "anti-Muslim" and "anti-refugee" sentiment coming from the public. He said, "These two forms of hostility seem to be overlapping and reinforcing each other."
Though he agrees that a thorough investigation should take place, Hooper is more concerned that the case is becoming a lightning rod for bigotry (never mind what happened to the girl). Not surprisingly, multiple leftist outlets are joining with CAIR's complaints of "anti-Muslim hate," as noted at PamelaGeller.com.
According to a WND report, the two older boys were released from custody and back to their parents on Thursday. Those families have also been evicted from the apartments.
