The progressive grassroots movement loyal to Barack Obama, Organizing for Action, is holding a new contest to give supporters a chance to meet the president and tell him how thankful they are for his accomplishments.
OFA is supplying two round-trip tickets, hotel accommodations in Washington D.C., and a meet-and-greet with President Obama.
"You and a friend could be headed to Washington, D.C., to tell President Obama which part of this movement's accomplishments you're most thankful for—all on OFA," reads the entry form.
As Obama ends his final term as president, OFA is looking ahead to the organization's future:
This is a crucial time to prepare for the fights to come, but also a time to take stock of all we've accomplished together. As part of that reflection, we're giving one lucky supporter the opportunity to talk to the Organizer-in-Chief himself about how far we've come. OFA is launching a new contest giving you the chance to tell President Obama which of this movement's accomplishments mean the most to you.
Suggested thankfulness includes Obamacare, growth in the private sector, and "marriage equality for all" -- something Obama only started to support in the last half of his presidency.
OFA praises its fearless "leader" who "has stood side-by-side with organizers the whole way" and is offering this meeting for sycophantic gushing.
