Orange is the New Black actress Danielle Brooks believes she encountered vile racism at the airport after a TSA agent had the temerity to exclaim "Lucky you!" upon noticing that Brooks held a first class airline ticket.
In a Twitter post, Brooks, who plays the character "Taystee" on the Netflix series, lamented that as she boarded a flight, a TSA agent noticed she had a "golden ticket" and complemented her on it. Well, ladies and gentlemen, even that kind of small talk would be considered "micro-aggression" on many of today's college campuses if Brooks had anything to say about it.
"I hate when gate agents look at me like I've never flown first class and say 'You're in first class, lucky you!'" she posted to Twitter. "Really tho."
Leftists over at the New York Daily News have taken sympathy of Brooks' traumatic experience with white supremacy, accusing that evil TSA agent of making a "snide comment" while causing "nasty turbulence" before boarding her flight.
Oh the sick, sad humanity!
Seriously, how miserable must a Progressive's existence be that a friendly comment from a TSA agent, who is paid a fraction of what the Netflix star earns, would trigger them into a hissy fit on social media?
God help the TSA agent, who is no doubt undergoing a re-education program of sensitivity training to cure them of racism.
If a TSA agent, or anyone else for that matter, congratulated me on a first class airplane ticket, the first thought to enter my mind would be either gratitude for my good fortune or thankfulness that someone complimented it.
Of course, that might very well be my "white privilege" talking.
