Belgium: Another Priest Stabbed by Asylum Seeker

It seems he will survive, thankfully.

Another man of the cloth was targeted Sunday when he was stabbed by an asylum seeker.

65-year-old priest Jos Vanderlee was attacked in his own home after reportedly allowing a refugee into his home to use the shower. The priest suffered injuries to his hands and it seems he will recover.

Worst of all, in typical fashion, local authorities are insisting the attacks has "nothing to do with terrorism." The Mirrorreports:

Public Prosecutor of Limburg Coppin Bruno said the attack happened at around 2.40pm local time (1.40pm UK time) but have stressed they do not believe it was terror-related.

Prosecutors say the suspect had knocked on the priest's home to ask for a shower and help.

After the shower the man allegedly asked for money and stabbed the priest when he said no.

The mayor of Lanake Marino Keulen, said: "Despite the fact that we are shocked, we must stress that this incident can not be linked to terrorist acts at this stage of the investigation."

In what alternate universe do these people inhabit? Just because some attacks may be carried out by a single perpetrator rather than via a terror cell; and might not be preceded with screams of "Allah'hu Akbar!" does not mean that Islam -- and the overall threat posed by Muslim refugees -- is not directly culpable.

Attacks are being carried out routinely by Muslim asylum seekers across Europe. When thousands of refugees took the the streets of Germany New Year's Eve to sexually assault women around the country, terrorism in the traditional sense was not cited as the cause. But that does not negate the fact that Muslim refugees committed the crimes and that their cultural background, inextricably linked to Islam, served as the catalyst, thus should be identified as the prime threat-factor here.

Until authorities admit this and do something about their refugee populations, innocent citizens are doomed to suffer more attacks.
