Bernie Sanders Won't Pay Interns'Living Wage'

Do as I say, not as I do -- the socialist mantra.

It's always "Do as I say, not as I do" for the socialist lot. Sen. Bernie Sanders, who has repeatedly called for the nation to adopt a minimum $15 "living wage," does not even pay his own staff that same dollar amount.
Roll Call reports that Sanders recently laid off roughly half his campaign staff -- likely in anticipation of suspending his presidential campaign -- yet tweeted that he is looking for paid interns for his congressional and Burlington, Vermont offices.
Surely there must be benefits to working for a self-proclaimed defender of the proletariat. Surely these interns -- particularly the ones slated to work in pricey Washington, D.C. -- can expect to earn a living wage working for Sanders of all people, right?
Turns out Sanders pays his interns $12 an hour and some on social media are rightfully taking umbrage with the hypocrisy:

Progressives are good at telling the rest of the world what to do with its money, but when it comes time to reach into their own pockets, they find their arms are just a bit too short.
