CAIR Publishes Bogus IslamophobiaReport Same Day Obama Scrubs 'Allah' from Orlando Transcripts

On the same day the Obama administration was busy scrubbing all references to Islam out of the transcripts from the Orlando jihadist's 911 calls, the Council on American-Islamic Relations released a bogus report on Islamophobia.
CAIR partnered with UC Berkeley's Center for Race and Gender to issue its "Confronting Fear" report which alleges $205 million in funding from "Islamophobic groups in America" between 2088-2013 that has been used to "spread lies about what Muslims believe" and "conspiracy theories about what Muslims are doing in this country."
In total, 33 groups and over 60 individuals are listed in the report that CAIR believes either promotes Islamophobic ideas or actually demonstrates prejudice and/or hatred against Muslims. Included in that list is David Horowitz and The David Horowitz Freedom Center, The Washington Times, Fox News, Steven Crowder, Mike Huckabee, Allen West, Ann Coulter, Bill Maher, and many others.
The report also "offers a four-point strategy to counter Islamophobia in the United States" and steps to "reclaim an open, democratic and religiously inclusive society."
Project leader Hatem Bazian states:
"The hope is that this report and others like it will provide the needed grounding for communities across the country to use for effective engagement with policy makers, educators, civil society leaders, and media outlets. Education and applied research is the best avenue to uplift and bring about a social justice transformation in society and this report is a step in that direction.”
Legal Insurrection rightly notes how this report follows exactly what the Obama administration does in keeping Islam out of the focus of all the evil done in its name:
As with the Obama administration, CAIR view the true threat not as being the person who shoots up a gay nightclub while proclaiming that he is fulfilling the will of Allah and pledging allegiance to ISIS. No, to the CAIRs and Obamas of the world, calling attention to the Islamist connection is the greatest threat.
