The socialist President of France, who runs a haircut budget in the 8,000 Euro range while demanding his people empty their piggy-banks for the common good, says Donald Trump's behavior sickens him.
Taking issue with Trump's public statements against Khizr Khan, Hollande slammed Trump:
"His excesses make you want to retch, even in the United States, especially when — as was Donald Trump’s case — he speaks ill of a soldier, of the memory of a soldier," Hollande told the AFP.
Hollande denounced Trump's comments as "hurtful and humiliating" while warning people that Democracy itself will die if Americans elect him for President.
"Democracy is also at stake, as we see more and more people tempted by authoritarianism," said Hollande. "If the American people choose Trump it will have consequences worldwide because the U.S. is a global economy."
The French socialist's poll numbers have been plummeting ever since the scourge of Islam began taking the lives of his own citizens on an almost monthly basis, which has led to the sudden spike in popularity for his nationalist opposition Marine Le Pen.
