Today's verse tells us that the miraculous story of Purim, recorded in the
Book of Esther, must be "remembered and celebrated throughout every generation." A few weeks
after Purim, we will observe Passover, when we are commanded to remember and
retell the story of the Exodus. Why is it so important to remember these events
