This month, Americans prepare to mark the 20-year memorial of the fateful day terrorism struck America on 9/11. The heinous attacks were carried out by Al-Qaeda, a military Islamist group founded by Osama Bin Laden.
The United States swiftly retaliated, invading Afghanistan and eventually killing Bin Laden in 2011.
Now, phony-Catholic Biden has pulled American forces from the country, and Al-Qaeda is rearing its head once again. Two weeks ago, Biden defended his hasty evacuation of Afghanistan.
President Joe Biden: "What interest do we have in Afghanistan at this point, with Al-Qaeda gone?"
The Taliban, which for decades has refused to renounce Al-Qaeda, now has full control of Afghanistan. Biden's secretary of state, Antony Blinken, confirmed last week Al-Qaeda is back in Afghanistan.
Antony Blinken: "Al-Qaeda's capacity to do what it did on 9/11, to attack us, to attack our partners or allies from Afghanistan is vastly, vastly diminished. ... Are there Al-Qaeda members and remnants in Afghanistan? Yes."
Biden touted a different story Tuesday.
Biden: "Over a decade ago, Al-Qaeda was decimated."
With elected officials and military brass acknowledging Al-Qaeda's growing presence, it appears Biden has once again missed the mark.
